Llanddewi with Knelston Women’s Institute

LATEST News: WI Choir wins FIRST place!

Women's Institute Llanddewi with Knelston Women’s Institute was formed in April 1981 and originally met in Llanddewi Village Hall.

To comply with Disability Regulations we moved our venue to Rhossili Village Hall in January 2008.

We meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm.

Our WI is an informal gathering open to any women who would like to join.

We belong to the Glamorgan Federation of Women’s Institutes (GFWI) which is part of the National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI).

Denman College near Oxford is the WI’s own residential Lifelong Learning Centre and our WI awards an annual bursary towards the cost of one of its many courses.

Our President, Chris Williams of Port Eynon does an excellent job and is well supported by the committee members who together arrange the programme for the year. This is varied and includes speakers, outings, meals and various social occasions.
